Become a Mystery Shopper
We are looking for objective, energetic individuals to conduct Mystery Shops throughout New Zealand. Our Mystery Shoppers assess store presentation, customer service and sales techniques for some of New Zealandís biggest retailers. If you want to get paid to shop, keep reading!
The assignment involves a person assuming the identity of a customer to gather information about a business. This information is then used to provide valuable feedback to the business so that they can improve their customer service.
Our mystery shoppers are fully trained before they go on-site to evaluate a store. We conduct mystery shops for a range of industries including grocery, liquor, petroleum, restaurants, tourism, fast food, fashion and banking.
Shoppers Anon provides guidelines and training that detail step-by-step procedures for the Mystery Shop. After the visit, the Mystery Shopper answers a short list of questions relating to the store.
There is a set fee for each Mystery Shop and you can pick and choose your
own workload. As an independent contractor, you simply submit an invoice each
month for the shops you have undertaken to receive payment.
Once you fill out the Mystery Shopper Application Form we enter your name into our database. We will call you to conduct a short phone interview. If successful we will train you and then contact you when we have a Mystery Shop in your area. At this time, we will provide the fee, deadline, and other requirements of the visit.
If you agree to accept the assignment, we send you the appropriate guidelines and questionnaire to be filled out. We require the shop to be completed professionally, confidentially, honestly, and promptly.
You must have web access, an e-mail address and a dependable form of transportation. If you are observant, unbiased, committed to detail and capable of working within a deadline, you can be a Mystery Shopper. If you would like to be part of our Mystery Shopping team, click below.
